The SA Music Awards exist to recognise, promote and celebrate excellence in the South Australian contemporary music industry and take place annually in Adelaide, South Australia every November. The brief for the 2019 Awards was 'Organic vs. Industrial', symbolising the talent of SA musicians and taking over the industry.

Our concept incorporated flowers and plant-life growing through man-made material and rigid shapes to create unique, beautiful patterns.

To really bring the 'growth' concept home, the look and feel needed to be versatile enough to expand further than just static imagery. Animated, rotating and transforming elements did not only achieve this but could be used for very intriguing and attention-grabbing visuals for social media, digital ads and award event screens.
